After six months on air, Capricorn FM is making its presence felt in the Limpopo radio market. The Radio Audience Measurement Survey (RAMS) released in June was conducted in major urban metros between January and March. In Limpopo the only area that was researched was Polokwane Central, which has 87 000 available radio audience.
Capricorn FM has already captured more than 40% of this market and over 50% of the 16 - 34 year category. From the research 68% of those who listen to the station fall in the LSM 6 - 10 bracket. These figures clearly indicate that Capricorn FM represents a new and powerful medium for advertisers to reach audiences with a buying power in the Limpopo province.
