More love for Vodacom

Vodacom's new TV ad, More Love, which aired for the first time on Sunday night, 30 November 2008, was commissioned by Draftfcb and directed by Amy Allais and produced by Olivia Leitch of Ola! Films. [video]

The 45-second spot took only five days from shooting to airing, an aspect which seems to add to the visually live, real-time feel of the ad.

Shot on 35mm in Newtown, the spot is composed of beautifully worked vignettes and scenarios using vibrant, eclectic and very real Jozi (Johannesburg) characters, all woven together with a comedic thread and resulting in a light and colourful visual feast that brings the More Love message home.
